March 2009 - Peters Creek Farm - FUNDRS gathering

FUNDRS, the fun driving and riding society, had a weekend gathering at Peters Creek Farm, a BEAUTIFUL 500 acre farm near Social Circle. There were many events to participate in but we could only for for Sunday. We had the opportunity to have a driving lesson with Johnny Ruhl and we learned alot! It was also a great opportunity to take photos of some gorgeous "big"horses as well.

October 2006 - Halloween

The girls wanted to take horses with them to the Frey's halloween party. So, Baroque became an indian pony (we leaned NEVER use red face paint on the minis - it does not come off and they end up being "pink" for months until you clip it off!) and Eclipse became the sheriff's horse.

July 16, 2005 - Trip to Little King

I sent my mare, Blossom, to Indiana to be bred to Ima Boone's Little Buckeroo, too. We were at the Julep cup in Kentucky and only two hours away from Little King Farm so we decided to pick her up. That way, we'd get to see the famous farm and the infamous Boones Little Buckeroo, too! We were ecstatic when Robin allowed us to actually pose with the famous stallion. We also got signed Breyer models of Buckeroo and posed with him and his models. We had our photos made with BTU, the stud that I bred Blossom to, also.

October 31, 2005 - Halloween

We promised my eighty year old neighbor, Mr. Kinney, that we would walk the horses down to trick-or-treat. Romeo went as a convict, Jammer as a dragon and my little Schnauzer went as a princess. None of them were too happy about the costumes but they were happy that Mr. Kinney had some carrots and other treats for them. Jammer found the candy bowl and tried to help himself before we intervened.
