"Jammer" is a beautiful little stallion with an incredibly sweet personality. For his former owner, Laura Harber of Lauralee Miniatures , he accumulated AMHA points in halter, color and country pleasure driving. In 2001, he finished in the AMHA Honor Roll Top Ten and was 3rd place in Amateur Senior Stallions at the 2001 AMHA Central Regionals Championship.

In 2005, Jammer re-entered the show arena with Deb Messner showing him in open and me showing him in amateur classes. IN 2005, he won 2 Championships and 2 Reserve Championships in Country Pleasure driving in rated shows, won multiple blue ribbons in halter, driving and hunter. He was awarded 5 High Point titles in the Newton County Saddle club and was AMHR National All Star in Versatility, under.

In 2006, Jammer continued to excel winnng many first places in hunter, trail and driving. He took champs and reserves in driving including the AMHR Area III Champion Country Pleasure Driving Stakes . He was AMHA Eastern Regional Champion in Adult Showmanship and while there, also placed Top Five in Open Halter Obstacle, Country Pleasure Driving Stallions and Ladies Country Pleasure Driving.

Jammer placed Top Five at the 2006 AMHA Worlds in Adult Showmanshp and Adult Costume .

Other accomplishments for 2006 included being the Julep Cup Overall Amateur High Point, AMHR All Stars in open halter obstacle, Open Hunter, Amateur Halter Obstacle and Amateur Obstacle Driving. Jammer also won top tens in every class and one reserve champ in our local saddle club even though he only attended 2 of 4 shows.

In 2007, despite an injury that left him blind in the left eye, Jammer went on to complete his final requirements for his AMHR Hall of Fame in Country Pleasure driving. He came into the year needing 1 more championship and 17 points. I'm proud to say that Jammer got 2 championships and more than enough points to get his HOF. Congratulations to Deborah Messner, as well, who drove him to all of those victories.

Jammer also had to learn to adjust to his new handicap in the showmanship ring. No longer able to "see" the cues of his handler, Jammer learned to trust pressure cues and went to the AMHA Eastern Championships in August 2007 and won Champion in both the Open and Amateur Showmanship classes.

Jammer attended the 2007 AMHA World show in Fort Worth in October and placed 3rd out of 17 in Open Showmanship. Since he had top tenned at the Worlds twice and had acheived his Hall of Fame in Country Pleasure driving, we told the little man that he could retite. He'll enjoy a life of leisure producing cute babies and participating in Christmas parades and other philanthropic events.
